This Privacy Policy explains how sortout.app ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the Image Upscaler tool.

1. Image Data

When you upload an image for upscaling, it is transmitted to our processing server over HTTPS. We use it solely to perform the upscaling operation. Once the result is returned to your browser, the uploaded file is immediately and permanently deleted from our server. We do not store, log, cache, or share your images under any circumstances.

2. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g. how many visitors use the tool, which scale factors are most popular). This data is anonymous and aggregated. We do not track individual users or link analytics data to uploaded images. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We store a single item in your browser's localStorage to remember your dark/light theme preference. This is purely functional — it never leaves your device. Third-party advertising networks (if any are active) may set their own cookies; please refer to their privacy policies.

We may display ads from third-party networks. These networks may use cookies to serve relevant advertising. We do not share your uploaded images or any personally identifiable information with advertisers.
